NSS – National Service Scheme
The Full Form of NSS is National Service Scheme. It is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Education and Government of India. NSS is a voluntary association of young people in colleges, universities and at +2 level working for a campus-community linkage. The prime motto of the NSS is to contribute to the welfare of the society by conducting various social activities. The participants of the NSS program are involved in various social activities like blood donation camps, plantation drives, awareness campaigns, cleanliness drives, and other community development projects.
