NCERT – National Council of Educational Research and Training
The Full Form of NCERT is National Council of Educational Research and Training. It is an autonomous organization set up by the Government of India to assist and advise the Central and State Governments on academic matters related to school education. NCERT develops and publishes textbooks for schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and other state education boards in India. The organization also conducts research in the field of school education, offers training to teachers and teacher educators, and develops educational policies and programmes. NCERT is headquartered in New Delhi, India.
